'I am a single mom, can you give me a better price? ' I came across a lot of parents like that. But this Ms L has a very peaceful and happy face i have ever met among all the single moms. She told me that she is not working now. She has a house for renting and this bigger one for herself and her daughter. The basement is renting to a Philippino single mom with her daughter. So, she has enough income for livelihood.
She told me that her case is different. Her ex is a medical doctor from China. After immigrating to Toronto, he got a kind of calling and became a monk and divorce her. He went back to China and living in the temple, at the same time , functions like a medical doctor to help others.
Last year, Ms L and her daughter went back to China to visit him. The little girl was very excited and called 'daddy' when she met him. He told the little girl dont call him daddy, call him The Monk, his name is Si kong da si.
Her ex came back to Canada every 2 years for public speech in Toronto. When he came back here, he lives in the temple.
The 7 years old little girl can recite the religious verses and told her mom dont eat anything that can fly or can walk on earth. It is sin. Both mom and daughter only eat vegetables cook in water without any salt or other ingredients.
There are many families in the world, when you open a door, you find out a new story. This one stuns me.

Life is so precious and so delicate
Life and death's distance sometimes just like a sheet of paper. When we have it, we must must must treasure it. All the family members beside us are lives, we have to treasure them -- all the time, no matter under what kind of circumstance.
My heart aches so much that i almost cannot breath tonight! May God bless the babies and comfort warren and song!

Our hearts are broken
Everyone was so happy in the family about the babies in Song's womb. After so many preparations, joyful conversations, name them, buy clothes for them , buy toys for them, tease them....One phone call broke our hearts. They are miscarriaged. Grief, sorrow, mournful, sad, broken heart, shock, tears, frustration ....yet no words can describe our disappointment and saddness.
God gave us, God took them back. that's all i remember...

Should I proud of you?
Of course, Michelle and Yvonne.
Last night, went to bed at 10pm and woke up at 2am. Then woke up the whole night. It gave me time to think what i have. Am I a 'poor person' without anything? No, i am so rich and unexpected to have 2 nice daughters. When i know who and who are so wealthy but the kids.... I feel so proud of you! I am so proud bc you keep on working hard, humble, willing to change and looking forward with positive attitude and sometimes even comfort me when i was down. If you told me mom taught you 'earth equator..' , rather say, you teach me and enrich my life. Thank you.

Bar Ceremony
Michelle's Bar Ceremony was on 31 July 2009. I dont expect Brian Beresh gave such a detail and good passage of speech and the judge's advice is compassionate and personal. Friends are there, so do i and yvonne. Yvonne is a lovely sister who supports her sister so much by flying all the way from LA to Edmonton for the ceremony. She was not given the seat even check in ahead and took and next flight early in the morning at 4AM.
There are pictures, presents, congraluations and michelle is so happy. When people asked if i am happy, i think i am of course happy by not the types with tears in the eyes. Bc since Michelle started to study since 2 years, after 25 years becomes a lawyer is just like a person saving money in the bank, day after day, knows there is a big lump sum. Of course happy but not unexpected. Good job, Michelle, all my blessings are with you. Good girl, yvonne, all my blessings are with you and hope will attend your graduation with an award.

Followers
I was so happy to find out that I have 2 followers in my blog although I don’t understand if they’re any special meaning of the word follower in blog language. It reminds me the scene I saw in front of my car one springtime morning. The mom goose walked across the road in from of my car with 4 ‘followers’ baby geese. The mom goose walked in front as the leader and occasionally turned her head to make sure the babies are following her safely. The babies just follow the footprints of their mom. I was touched that day.
As a mom, I have to walk firmly in the path of life. Even across the dangerous road full of traffic, my babies are more important. It is a mom’s intrinsic quality to take care of them no matter they rest relaxingly near the pond of water, or crossing the dangerous road full of traffic. Many people they are not willing to have kids, it is because they do not have a sweet childhood. Many people they are not willing to get married, it is because they do not see any close relationship from their parents. Many people they do not take well care of their kids, it is because they do not respect life. There is news saying the parents kill the kids prior to suicide because they love them and don’t want them be orphans. Death is nothing to be fear, but how to face daily challenge in our life needs real courage. Otherwise, they have less wisdom than the mom goose.

Be Patient
Somtimes i think people writing in the blog is really like writing a diary . No one will look at it and just a way to express yourself or drop down somthing you want to keep in mind.
As life goes by, so many ups and downs, we are numb sometimes. We forget life is appreciating what is on the way rather than just looking forward for something. We forget to take care of a lot of things beside us.
We look for excitement, quick feedback and immediate result. We forget the art of waiting. In the period of waiting, it brings expectation, hope and longing for. Actually it is the best period of time. When we get there or what we want, the happiness might not last long and we start expecting another thing. Maybe this is the sign of present generation.
The best waiting time for a mom is watching the gradual growth of her kids. If she has more than one, she can see different kinds of flower blossom into different types of beauty. This teaches a mom be patient. I think all the mom will say, if this comes once again, i will drop down all the minor things of her kid's growth in her blog.

Zoo
My daughter phoned me so many times because she wanted to tell me that she is enjoying going to the zoo with her friend. It must be a good weather and good mood for her. I ought to be happy for her getting a time to be relaxed and someone accompany her. Yet, I do not understand why I have a sense of mix jealous and upset feeling. Someone stole my daughter away from me. She is no more close to me than to him. I laugh at myself for this funny feeling. Isn't it what I wish her life ought to be? Maybe it is a kind of empty nest syndrome.
On the other hand, I am so glad she has a child like heart to go to the zoo than other places cannot reveal to others. Thanks God. He gave me two girls I am proud of, not only their attitude towards their careers, but also strong characters and honest personalities.
Away from home since young, they met different kinds of 'animals' in the society. They have to learn how to identify, whether these are kind cute rabbit, giraffe or cunning and cruel wolf and tiger in the society of zoo. They have to learn how to protect herself since mother cannot protect them forever.
On the other hand, I am so glad she has a child like heart to go to the zoo than other places cannot reveal to others. Thanks God. He gave me two girls I am proud of, not only their attitude towards their careers, but also strong characters and honest personalities.

Water
Today is Canada Day. I went to swim with grandma. Her body is painful all the time especially the rainy days. However, in the water, she can walk like wearing high heel shoes, run or even jump. I remember I know and studied about water since very young. Every level let me know more about it. From grade 1, I know I can drink, wash with water. G.3-4 the cycle of water amazed me the wonder of the Creator.
IN high school, when I know how precious water is in deserts, I dare not to waste. There are so many places in this world, people live without clean water to drink, nor accessible water to use; I feel I am luckier than many people are. A thankful attitude usually comes from a deeper thought.
We can make the water dirty, colored, but when it evaporates, its purity is always there and nothing can attach it. Muddy water does not mean water itself is dirty, when the situation becomes still, mud and water can be separate. Unchangeable sparkling quality is always there.
At the same time, it can mix with any other things to become vinegar, soy sauce, wine, fruit juice, bleach, shampoo etc etc. Water just like the Chinese said as a 'gentleman'. It can mix with anyone but always be itself. I think it is very important for us to be like that to keep various types of relationship in this society.
Today, when I see grandma's pain free smiles in the pool, I respect its floating ability nature to help my old parent.

Michael Jackson
Michael Jackson's passing was the front-page news around the world .It's so sad and shocking to everyone especially his fans. Talented Jackson lived like a king and died with a huge debt. His sensational songs swiped so many youthful souls but his own soul was in the dark corner in his later years.
A person's success depends on so many factors: talent, hardworking, relationship, presistence, luck and chances....etc. Climbing to the ladder of success attracts people to keep all these reminding advice in head. And many of them reach the point.
The most difficult thing is how to upkeep your success is another type of mindset and learning. Can the advice still instill not only inside your head but also inside your heart and diffuse as a kind of personality and character which determine how long you can keep everything in hand.
Do we have the boundary to know where we are in this world? That's the common sense which might disappear nowadays in the huge waves of 'I' culture that replaced the 'we' culture in the past.
There are many long history countries build their society based on families, not individualism. Family does not only the couple and kids concept but the one related to your family including grand generation , inlaws and cousins. I really appreciate Nancy Bi replied my thank you email saying that we are family. When we have the concept of family, sense of responsibilities will be in our heart. So whatever we want to do, we are not only thinking how 'i' feel, but how 'we' feel.
If our king of pop can insist that, he might have an easier life!

My heart left in LA

I can't believe i forgot to say Happy Birthday to Yvonne on 22 June although i sensed it is a very important day that day. Finally, i just left it in the voice mail which she changed the number a day ago. So i think i better say Happy Belated Birthday to her here.
Yvonne is in LA without any friends, nor relatives. My heart left there even many days after i came back. I really appreciate my daughter. She has a very strong character like her father, and very delicate inside like an angel. I really don't know it is i take care of her, or she takes care of me during the trip. I have to admit that the feeling of being taken care is so good.
Lots of bubbles in your bloody path, ding er, but don't worry, you can fly and successful in LA since you know that my heart left in LA with you.
